Long, long ago, but not so far away, I was introduced to photography at the NCSU School of Design.
I dabbled in photography off and on the years.
I began to get serious around 2009. I entered the digital SLR world. Then attended NY Institute of Photography.
I began focusing my photographic interests on motorsports, high school sports and dogs. All areas that I have an interest in beyond photography. I try to instill my passion for the subjects in my photography.
In 2013, I was fortunate enough to land a freelance opportunity with the local paper as a photojournalist.
I found that both motorsports and even high school sports photography is as competitive as the sports themselves. They are also crowded fields. At the end of the 2014 school year, I returned to that photography that started my path, North Carolina Scenes.
